designated Land Eraud Investigative Division to be funded in part from ~unds made
available pursuant to the Crime Control Act of 1973, ~L 93-83, administered by the
Office of Criminal Justice Planning (hereafter referred to as OCJP) ~or the
Calffornia Council on Criminal Justice,
NOW, THEREFOILE, B~ IT RESO~VED that the District Attorney of the County o~
Butte is author~zed on behalf of the Board of Supervisors of the County o~ ~utte to
submit Application for Grant for Zaw Enforcement Purposes to OCJP and xs authorized
to execute on beha~f of the County of Butte the Grant Award for law enforcement
purposes incxuding any extensions or amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOZV~D that the app~icant agrees to provide a11 matching
£unds required for,said project (including any extension ox amendment thereof) under
~he Crime Control Act and the rules and regulations of OCJP and the Law ~nforcement
Assistance Administration (~EAA) and that cash will be appropriated as required
thereby>
$E TT E'iTRTHER RESOLVED that grant funds received hereunder shall not be
used to supplant on-going law enforcement expenditures.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 14th daq
of SepYember , 1976, by the following vote:
