WHER~AS, the Board of Supervisors o~ the County a~F
Butte, Sta~e o~ California, on ~he 29th day of ~une, ~976 ado~ted
and passed a resoiution ca1ling ~or an electian to be heZd in the
proposed service area on 5eptember 21, 1976 ~'or the purposes of
det~rm~ning whether said serv7ce area shou1d be organized and formed
and se~ting a maximum tax rate for said serv~ce area, and
WHEREAS, a major~ty of the vates~cas~ in said e~ec~ifln
were in favor af es~ablis~ment af said service area and ~he maximum
tax rate,

visors of the Cour~~y of Sutte, Sta~e of Califarnia as foilows:
~. Tha~ said Board here~y finds and determines tl~at
proceedings herein were conducted pursuan~ ~a Sections 252~0.~
e~ se~. of the Gavernment Code, and ~ha~ p~blicat3on and notices
were given pursuant thereto, and that said Board finds and deter-
m~nes that the exten~ to which the servic~s described in the resolu-
~~on of ~ntention are extended county services;
2. That ~h~ name of said coun~y service area is
"Coun~y Service Area ~Vo. 56";
3. That the type o~' extended county services
~o be provided within said area is street~l~ghting.
4. That the boundaries of the coun~y service ar~a
as determined and estab~ished are the same as are shawn on Ex~ibi-~
"A" attached here~o and incorpflrated herein by reference and made
