AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, 20NING A PORTION OF SAID COUNTY
PURSUANT TO EXISTING ORDINANCE NOS. 475 & 522
OF SAID COUNTY, AND AMENDING THE SAID ORDINANCES

', SECTION 1. The hereinafter described area situated in the
County of Butte, State of California, shall be zoned as an "R-3"
District as hereinafter described and subject to all of the re-
stricted uses applicable to an "R-3" District, said area so zoned
being located in the Community of Paradise; County of Butte, State
of California, particularly described as follows:
Assessor Parcel 54-09-13 (6.45 acres) as shown on maps on
file; and of record in the office of the Butte County
Assessor, State of California, on March 4, 1963.
SECTION 2. The regulations applicable to the district so zoned,
as provided in the Zoning Enabling Ordinance, are restated as
follows:
This district is for multi-dwelling units and all uses permitted
in "R-1" and "R-2" Districts, subject to the securing of a use per-
mit for any use for which.a use permit is required in any "R-1" or
"R-2" District, and the following uses permitted subject to the
securing of a use permit in each case:
{a) Hotels, residential clubs and lodges.
(b) Hospitals, rest homes, sanitariums and clinics.
(c) Motels.
SECTION 3. The penalties for violations of the zoning hereby
imposed upon said district shall be as;>piovi;d~d ih~Attse .sais,~ ;Zfia~ing

SECTION 4. In compliance with the provisions of said Zoning En-
abling Ordinance, the same is hereby amended by adding to Section 5
thereof this Ordinance in full.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be and it is hereby declared to
be in full force and effect from and after thirty (30) days after
the date of its passage, and before the expiration of fifteen (15)
days after its passage, this 'Ordinance shall be published once
with the names of the members of the Board voting for and against
it, in the Paradise Press , a newspaper published in the
County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, State of California, this 7th day of May
1963, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Alldredge, Giles, McYillop, Pryde and Chairman Steinegger
