COUNTY ADMINZSTRATIVE OFFICER TO SUBMIT A FORMAL OFF~R TO ACQUIR~
REAL PROPERTY GEORGE AND SARAH ROBERTS
WHEREAS, the CounCy of Butte is conducting a neighborhood improvement
program in the South Oroville community, among the purposes of which are the
elimination of blight and the stimulation of residential rehabilitation; and
WHERFAS, the County has determined Chat certain paxcels identified
in the aforesaid neighborhoad may be brought into compiiance with County
objectives only through the direct County acquisition and rehabilitation of
real property; and
WHEREAS, the County has received an appraisal xeport, £rom Robert
Winston, dated Aecember 31, 1976, and a review of that report has been made
by William H. P. Dolan, Jr., in accordance with federal and state regulations,
for the purpose of establishing jusC compensation for certain specified real
properties.
NOW, THEREFORE B~ IT RESOLVED by Che County of Sutte Board of
Supervisors that:
1. The Board determined it to be in the best interest of the South
Orovi~le community development program to acquire that certain real property
described as Assessor's Yarcel No. 35-116-02 and more commonlq known as
2435 "D" Street, said property being owned by George Howard Roberts and
Sarah Roberts.
2. The Board hereby establishes the sum of $5,000.00 (Five Thousand
Dollars) as just compensation for subject property.
3. The Board authorizes its County Administrative Officer Co
execute a"Written Offer to Purchase Real Property" and an "Agreement o£
Sale of Real Property" for that parcel identified he~ein. Said documents are
hezeby adopted.
PASS~D AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this
25th ~ay of ~anuary , 1977, by the following vote:
