and
WH~R~AS, ~f~e coun~y may deposit in the ~acal Agency
Ir~ves~men~ FUnd, for pur~ases of inves~ment, money not required for
immediate needs, and
I~EiER~AS, the Board of Supervisors may authorize a 7oca7
governmentaT official to remi~ such maney ~o the State 7reasurer
for deposit in the Local Agency T~vestment Fund.
NOW, TH~REFQRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board o~ Super-
visors of tl~e Gounty of Butte, that:

to the Sta~e TreasUrer ~o be depasited in the Loca1 Agency Ir~vestmen~
Fund far the purposes of investment, money in ~he caunty treasury
