RESOLU`TION MODYFYING EFFECTIVE DATE OF ADOPTION OF
CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODES I~I3D MODI~`YING, THEREFORE,

WiiE1tEAS, this Board has previously approved numerous
conflict of interest codes, and
[nT~i~It~AS, in order to prope~~y review each individual code
and because of problems wzthin c~rtain political entities and
districts, it was necessary to stagger the approval throughout the
year, and
WHEREAS, the anniversary dates ~or recording are, therefore,
different for the various poiitical entities as for the various
county departmen.ts , and
WHEREAS, ~he different anniversary dates greatly complicate
tne task ot the county clerk and administration thereaf.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That notwithstanding any action by this Board to the
cvntrary, a11 con~lictc ofi interest codes approved by the Board of
Supervisors are to be deemed approved as o~ 3uly 1, L976, and,
therefore, the reporting anniversary dates of a11 conflict of
interest codes approved by the Soard of Supervisors sha11 be on
July l, o~ eaclz year.
2. That this Board directs the county clerk to mail
copies of this resolution to a11 of the political entities and
county departments t~.at have ~reviously submitted con~lict ofi
iz~,terest codes and that further, this resolution sha~l be posted
xn Che cottttty clerk's office. The county clerk sliall also endeavor~=:.
to see that a11 individuals concerned shall be advised of this
modification of anniversary da~es.

this 22nd day of February , 1977, by the following
