Planning Commission, the Seismic Safety, Safety, Noise and Scenic
Highways elements as approved by the Planning Commissi.an; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code §65356, proposed
modificati.ons to be approved elements were referred back by the
Board of Supervisors to the Plamzing Commission for review; and
WHEREL~S, the Planning Commission pursuant to Govexnment
Code §65356, made a repo~t back to rhe Board o£ Supervisors con.-
cerning the groposed modifications; and
WHEIZEAS, pursuant to Go~trernment Code §65302, the above
four named elements are required to be included in the Sutte CounCy
General Plan; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Governmen~ Code §65355, hearings
~ave been held by the Boaxd of Supervisors to consider the above-
named fo~r el.ements; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has reviewed and con-
sidered and certified that the final environmental. impact report
(atiCached hereto as Exhibit "!~") prepared for the above four named
elements, was completed in compliance with CEQA and the Sta~e
Environmental Guidelines; and
WtTEREAS, this B.oard finds that notwith.standing the possible
irzeversible effects which may result from adoption of tl-~Seismic
Safety:Element, the Safety Elemen.t, the Noise Element and the Scenic
Highways El.ement of the Bu~te County General P1an as described in
