I~ut Company, to allow the abandonment of a public highway as described
below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority vested in rhis Board
under Govexnment Code §50430, et seq., this Board wishes to declare
its zntention to abandon a public highway as described'below:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that ar i~s regular
meeting on. ~y ~~ , 19 77, at 9:30 a.m. , in the Board
Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, a 1~earin~
shal~ be k~.eld ox~, the a3~andonment o~ the following described public
h.ighway .
East ~leventh Avenue from and including the inter-
section of Oleander and East Eleventh Avenue to the
east side of the East Esplanade Drive Road.
~ast Lindo Avenue ~rom west side of Laburnam Avenue
to the East Esplanade Drive Road to the north side
of East Eleventh Avenu.e.
Subject to easements issued to the railroad and
utility companies.
1. Dedication of 20-fovt drainage easement to
County w~.thin that portion of Oleander ~-1.venue
abandoned recently.
2. Rights o£ the publa.c utilities in acco~dance
with §959.1 of the Streets and Hi.~hways Code.
3. 9.ccess fox bank maintenance along Lindo Channel.
4. Access for possible hiking and bike path.
5. Reserve a public utility easement and storm
drainage easemenr on East Esplanade Drive.
6. Abandonment to be no closer tttan 10 feet froan
the centerline of the railroad.
7. Retain fire access.
