WHEREAS, the Bvtt~ County Board of Snpervisors i.ni.,ti.ated preliminary
proceedrngs before the Loca1 Agency ~'ormatfon Commi.ssi.on for the detachmen~ o~
territory £rozn CS~A ~~26 by Reso~ution No. 76-189; and
WH~I2EAS, i.tem "77-I1 DetacYimen~ of Territory from CSA ~~26 - Board of
Supervisors", ~was consi.derad and passed by the ~oca1 Agency Formation Ccmn~issi.on
and the extefior boundaries af sai,d territory are described in Exhibi.~ "A",
at~ached here~o and made a pa~rt hereof by this reference; and
WH~REAS, said territory described in E~hi.ba.t "A" has been deemed ta be
inhab~ted; and
WHEREAS, this detacl~ment is necessary to ~xclude a portion of the City of
Orovi.l~.e included within C~A ~`~26 by an error in tne legal description of that
county servi.ce area; and
WHEREAS, the consen~ and release of the sole bon.d holder of CS.A ~~26 sewer
bonds, ~he Un,ited States of Ar~-erica, Farn~ers Homa Adm~a.ni.stration, has been
obt~ned so ~ha~ lands wittzin sai.d ~~~'xi.tory being detached will not be ob~.xgated
~o said bonds.
NOW, T~REFORE, ~E IT RESOLVED, by the Bu~te Connty Boa~d pf Sup~rvisors as
follaws:
Io '~hat a hearing on the proposed detachment shali be held ~May~•3•~, 1977
in the Boa~d o~ Supervisors Room at
lO:OQ a.m. ,
2. Any i.nterested pexson des~ring ~o make written protest against said
detachment sha7~1 do so by written cammunica~~on filed w~.th th~ Cl~rk of the Board
n.ot later than May 33., 1977 at 9:D0 a.~.
3. Tn order for a written protest ~o be accepted, the protest sha7.1 contain
the foll.owing:
