RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, the County of Butte is conducting a neigh6orhood
improvement program in the ~outh Oroville community, among the pvrposes
of which are the elimination o€ blight and the stimulation of residential
rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain parcels identified
in the aforesaid neighborhood may be brought into co~pliance with County
objectives only through the direct County acquisition and rehabilitation of
real property; and
WH~REAS, the County has received an appraisal report, from Robert
Winston, dated December 31, 1976, and a review of that report has been
made by William H.P, Dolan, Jr., in accordance with federal and state
regulations, for the purpose o€ establishing just compensaCion for certain
specified real properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED bq the County of Bvtte Board of
Supervisors ehae:
1. The Board determined it to be in the best interest of the
South Oroville communiey development program to acquire that certain real
property described as Assessor's Parcel No. 35-162-8 and more coa¢nonly knowxx
as 2650 Elgin Street, said property beiag owned by Mamie Lee.
2. The Board hereby establishes the sum of $500.00 (Five Hundred
-oilars) as just compensation for subject properCy.
3. The Board authorizes ies County Administrative Officer to execuE~e
a"Written Offer to Purchase Real Property" and an "Agreement of Sa1e of Real
Property" for that parcel identified herein. Said documents are hereby adopted.
