RESOLUTION IPd THE MATTER OF THE FARMERS HOME ADMZNISTRATZOI~
LOAN ALdD GRANT TO THE HOUSING AUTHOR~TY OF THE COUNTY OF BUTTE
WHEREAS, L. G. Melton, Executive Director of the Housing
Authority of the County of Butte, has presented to the Board of
Supervisors a review of the Labor Housing Grarit Agreement and
Financial. Assistance to be furnished to the Housing Authority of
the County o~ Butte by the Farmers Home Administration for correction
of deficiencias in the water and sewer systems and rehabilitation of
the units, and
WHEIZEAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte
have been further advised that the financiaZ assistance for the
Project will be in the form o~ a total loan and grant of $100,000.00,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Bv.tte are
weii aware of the need and urgency for correction of deficienczes in
the water and sewer systems and rehabilitation of facilities at the
Gridley Farm Labor Center, and
WHEREAS, the Board ot Supervisors is the "Local Governing
Body" whose concurrence is required by said Section 36056, Health and
Safety Code..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED ~hat ~he Board o~ Supervisors
o~ the County o£ But~Ce lhereby approve the application of ~he Housing
Authority of the County of Butte in requesting federal assistance
from the Farmers Home Ad.ministra~ion for correcting de~iciencies in
the wa~er and s~wer systems and rehabilitation o~ the un~ts
for domes~ic farm labor a~ ~he Fa~m. Labor Center at Gridley
in ~h~ County of Butte.
