CO~STRUCT AN ADMINISTRATION BUSLDING
WHEREAS, the County of Butte was forced to demolish the old
Administration Building ~n Oroville due to earthquake damage; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Superv9sors have applied to the ~conomic
Development Administrat~on for a$],1]9,000 grant for construction of a
new Administrat~on Building; and
WHEREAS, the approximate tata~ cost of the new Administra~ion
Bui~ding is $2,308,585; a~d
WHEREAS, the funds in addition to the grant for construction of
the new Administration Building need to be allocated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of
Supervisors does herehy appropriate and al1ocate $1,189,585 ta meet the
match~ng requirements of the Economic Development Administration grant of
$1,119,000 for construction of the new Administration Building.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this
30~h day of August, i977, by the fo1lowing vote: ~
