WHEREAS, this Board has received a request from Diclc
Nelson to allow the abandonment of public ueility easement as
described below, and
WHEREAS, pursuant ~o th.e authority vested in this Board
under Government Code §§5(}430, et s~., this Board wishes to abandon
said easements as described below.
NOW, THEREFOR~, BE IT RESOLVED by this Board:
1. Z'hat this Board.find.s that said easement is unnecessary
for present or prospective public use.
2. That said public utility easement as hereinatter
described is hereinafter abandoned and vacated.
3. That said public utility easement zs situated in the
County o£ Butte, SCate of California, and desc"ribed as fol.lows, to
wit:
Abandoning:'.a 30 foot public utility easement more
particttlarly described as follows:
The easterly 30 feet of Orchard Street, now known
as Clover Street, as shown on that cereain map of
"Map of Nin;th Addition of John Bidwell Rancho of
Chico, Butte County, California" as recarded in
Book 4 on ?age 64, Maps of ~Zecord in the Office of
the Sutte County Recorder.
Excepting therefrom al1 that portion lying between the
northerly and southeYly banks of Dead Horse Slough.
