For payrnent of current fiscal year taxes,by the escrow agent;._:in.a
t~aiisfer: of::real:propex~ty, to tf~e buyers, would el.iminate requests
by the buyers to cancel penalties accrued on taxes;
NOW, 1.HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as foilows:
l. That this Board respectFuily requests that the
Legi.slature adapt Assembly Sill No. 989.
2. That th~.s Board direct that a copy of this Resolution
be sent to the Honorable Ray Johnson, Senator, to the Honorable
Eugene Cha~pie, Assemblyinan, to the Honorable Stan Statham, Assemblyman,
and to the Honorable Aiex P. Garcia, Senator and Chairman o~ the
Senate Business and'Professions Committee, and to such other parties
thaC the Board may direct.
