commun_ity under the Comrmznity IIevelopment Block Grant Program for three
consecutive fiscal years; and
WI-~.EAS, tangible resuZts in terms of the elimination of blight,
the rehabilitation of housing and nezghborhood conditions and increasing
supply of residentia7~ facilities for families of low and moderate incomes
are now evi.dent; and •
WHEREAS, these accomplishments could not have been achisved in a ti~nely
manner wi.thout the fu11 commitment and cooperation ~rom a large number of
organizations and individua7.s - in government and private industry; and
WHEREAS~ the County of Butte is especially greatful for the contributions
of staff representatives of the Department of Housing and Urban Aevelopment,
especial~y the Rehabi:litation Loan and Grant Specialist William McCabe,
