TO STATE HIGHWAY RQUTE 32
BE`~4J~~N '~~'N M~~~ HOUS~ AND GAR~,CIND ~tOAA
WHEREAS, ~he ~oard a~r Sup~rvisors of~ Butte County entered into Freeway
Agreements wxth the S~a~e of Ca].ifox~nia, D~par~ment of Public Works, 17ivision
a~' Highways on Oc~ober 1, 1956 (rev~ised March 7, J.972} and Septembex- 22, 7.970,
(revised March 7, I972), re~.a~ing to those certain por~ions of S~a~e Highway 3
i.n ~u~te Cau~.ty, between Fi~ S~re~~ and Hog Springs and b~tween Hog Springs
a~.d Lomo, ~esp~ctively; and
WHER~AS, said Sta~e Hi.ghway Rou~e 32 trave~ses a sec~.ion of Bu~tie
County in which extensive d~velopm~nt is impending; and
WHEREL•~S, this proposed de~relopment ~s advar~~ageous ~o ~he econo~-y of
Butte Couztty; and
WIIEitEAS, this propased deve~.opmen~. requxres additional public road con-
nec~ions to ~he ~'reeway; and
WHEREAS, Sec~ion 100.2 of the Stree~s and Hi.ghways Code requires fhe
adoption of a zeso7.ution by the Gal~.fornia Highway Commission cons~nting to
connec~ion wi.~h any fzeeway of new pubJ.ic roads;
NOW, TH~REF'ORE, BE ZT R~SQLVED by t~.e Board a£ Super~risors of ~he
County ot Butte, S~ate o~ California, that ~h~ Cali~ornia HigYtway Commission
be requested to adopt a resolu~ion consentiing ~o addi~ional, at-grade public
road connections ~o State Highway ltoute 32, a~ locations as ~ollows, to wit:
