portation forwarded offi.cial notzce o~' apportioner~ amoun.~s due Butta Coun~y
under the Federa~-azd Hxghway Ac~s, in accordance with the prpvi.sians o~
Section 2530 of fh.e St~eets and H~.ghways Code, as fo3.laws:
Federal-aid for sa~er ott-system roads: $1.51,499..
WHEREAS, 5ection 2532 of the Streets and Highways Gade requi.res
~he County within 60 days o~ recei~r~ng such. no~.ice ~o notify the Department o~'
Transpartation as ~o ~h.e amoun~ of the apportionme:nt the County and i~s citie~
wish to c1a~m; and
WHEREAS, ~he County has entered i,nta art agreement between the
County and a majori~y a~ ~~he~cities, wh.ich cities shall inc~ude a majority of
t~e municipal popnlation within the Coun~y far the di.s~.ribu~ian o~ ~he federal
funds under this program as requirec~ by Section 253Q(c) ot th.e St~eets and
Hi.ghways Cade;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County of Butte do~s here-
by z~oti£y ~he Cali£ornia Department o£ ~ranspoxtatzon that th.e County o~ Butte
claims the said apportionment an.d ~he whol.e ~hereof i.n the name of the County
and its cities, and that ~h.e Goun~.y o~' Burte does hereby agree to do a11 thing
necessary and proper.to secur~; the ~ed~~al funds available under the F`ederal.~
aid ~or Safer Off-System Roads P~ogra~.
