76-1~6, annexed territory to County Service Area No. 13; and
WH~REAS, the Board of Supervisors,in Resolution No. 76-116,
established the anne~ed territory as Zone No. 1 of County Service
Area No. 13 and es~ablished a11 other real property within the
boundaries of County Ser~ice Area No. 13 as Zone 2; and
GTHEREAS, County Departments have treated the two areas of
County Service Area No. 13 as if the zone numbers were reversed; and
WHE~tEAS, ~~ is necessary to eliminate confusion as ~o which
area is the zone that is subject to taxes and which area is the zone
that is subjec~ ~o a service charge.
T30W, THEREFORE, B~ ~T RESOLVE- by the Board of Supervisors
of the County of BuCte Chat Resolution No. 76-116 be an2ended as
follows:
5. That all real property described in Exhibit "A" to
be annexed to Countq Service Area No. 13 is hereby designated Zone
No. 2.
6. Th.at all other real property wi~hin th.e boundary of
County Service Area No. 13 is hereby designated Zone No. 1.
7. That a serviGe eharge pursuant to Butte County Ordinance
No. 1742 shall be computad for each parcel o~ real property xeceiving
street lighting services within. Zone No. 2. Said servi.ce ck~.arge for
each parcel of real property within Zone No. 2 sha1J. be placed on
the tax roli in the same manner and coZlected in the same fashion as
ad valorem property taxes are colZected.
