designated ~our.t Work Referral Program to be funded in part from f~nds made
available through the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968,
PS 90-351, as amended, (hereafter referred to as the CrZme Control Act)
administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning {hereafter referred
to as OCJP).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Judge of the Chico Municipal
Court of the County of But~e is authorized, on its behalf to submit the
attaehed Application for Grant ~'or Law Enforcement Purposes to OC~7P and is
authorized to execute on behalf of County of Butte the attached Grant Award
for law enforcement purposes inciuding any extensions or amendments thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the applicant agrees to provide a~l
ma~ching funds required for said project (inc1uding any extension or amendment
thereof) under the Crime Control Act and the rules and regulations of OCJP
and the Law Enforcement Assistance Administration and that cash will be
appropriated as required thereby.
BE IT FUR7HER RESOLV~D that grant funds rece~ved hereunder shall not
be used to supplant law enforcement expenditures control7ed 6y th~s body.
