BUTTE COUN'T'Y ORDINANCE N0. 773
AN ORDINANCE REPEALING BUTTE COUNTY ORDINANCE No. 761
WHEREAS, heretofore on the 5th day of February, 1963, the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte enacted a Butte
County Ordinance numbered 761, in accordance with Vehicle Code
Section 21359, providing for a thirty-five (35}; mile per hour
prima facie speed limit on the Oroville-Gridley highway between
State Highway 40A and a point 0.90 miles easterly of the westerly
line of Kirk Road; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was required because of flood damage
and repair of said road which condition now no longer exists:

BUTT'E2. STATE OF CALIFORNIA= do ordain as follows:
1. That Butte County Ordinance No. 761 is hereby repealed.
20 This ordinance will take effect thirty (30} days after
the passage hereof and it shall be published with the names of
the members voting for and against the same, once, in a local
newspaper published in the County of Butte, State of California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butter State of California, at the regular meeting
thereof on the 18th day of O'une, 1963, by the following vote:
AYESz Supervisors: Giles, McKillopp~ Pryde,. Alldredge
and Chairman 5teinegger.
NOES: 1Vone
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING:
