AT7THORTZING THE COUNTY ADNf2I~IS2RATIVE OFFICER TO
SUBMIT A FORNIAL OE`FER TO ACQUIRE REAL PROPERTY

WHEREAS, the County of Butte is conduc~ing a neighborhood improvement
program in the South Orovi.lle comrnunity, among the purposes of which are
the elimi.nation of bligh~ an.d the stimulation of residential rehabil~tation;
and
WHEREAS, the County has determined that certain parcels identified in
~he aforesaid neighborhood may be brought into compliance w~th County
objec~ives on7.y through the direct county acquisi~Eion and rehabilitation of
real property; and
W~;1?EAS~ the county has received an appraisal report from William H. P.
Dol.an~ Jr.~ dated December 6~ 1977, in accordance with federal and sta~e
regulata.ons, for the purpose of establishing just compensation for certain
speci.fied real properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R~SOT~VED by tha County of Butte Board of Supervisors
that:
l. The Board determines it to be in the best interest of the South
Oroville community development program to acquire that certain real property
descra.bed as Assessor~s Parcel #35~121-3 and located at 3466 Columbia Street,
OrovilJ.e~ said property being owned by William M. Brent.
2. The Board hereby establishes the sum of $7,000 (Seven Thonsand Dollars)
ae just compensati.on for subject property.

3. The Board authorizes its County Admin~strative Officer to execute
a~'Written Offer to Purchase Real Property" and an"Agreement of Sale of
Real Property/° for ~hat parcel identified herein.
