AT 2311 "D" STftEET, OROVILI~
WH~EAS, the County of Butte owns that certain real property, identified as
Butte County Assessor's Parcel Number 35-115-5; and
IatiEAEAS, the Board of Supervisors on November 5 and 7, 1977, in a notice pub=
licized in newspapers of generaZ circulation~ invited developers to submit proposaI.s
to aequire and rehabilitate said property in accordance with the objectives of the
- County's communa.ty develogment program; and
WFIEFtEAS, one proposal was received £rom Everest C. and Doris Fari.a•., evidenced
by a good faith deposit of four laundred ~i.~ty dollax~s ($450.00), to acquire said
parcel at the fair market value establ.ished by the Board of Supervisors, and to
rehab9.Zitate and utilize this site for low- and moc~erate-income housing in
accordance with the objectives o~ the Southside Communi~y BeveZopment Program.
NOW~ ~EF1~RE, BE IT RESOLVED AS k1~LTAWS:
l. The bid proposal o~ Everest C. and Doris Faxia to acquire parcel number
~ 35-~15-5 for the sum of $9,000, and to develop the parcel as proposed, is accepted
by the Board of Supervisors.
2. The County Administrative Offa.cer is au~horized to execute on behalf of
the county a"Da.sposit9.on Agreement" with Everest C. and lloris Faria, the content
of which is hereby approved by the Board.
3. The County Administrative 0£ficer is hereby autorized to open an escrow
accoun~E at Orova.~.le Tit1e Company £or the purpo of rec ding the "Disposition
Agreement" and transferrir~g the title of nar el nzzmber 35-1 -5 to Everest C. and
Dora.s Faria.
