WHEREAS, this Board has received a request ~'rom BiJ.~
Sharp, to allow the abandonment of a public highway (to wit, a
portion of Ford Drive) as descrzbed below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority vested in this Board
under Streets and High.ways Code §957 this Board wishes to declare
its intentions to abandon a public highway as described below.
NOW, THEREFO~, BE TT RESOLVED by this Board:
1. That this Board hereby gives notice that at is regulax~
meeting on Fo~~ p~~ , 1978, at o.~.~ , m ~.m. , in the
Board Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville,
California, a hea~ing shall be held on the abandonment o~ the
following described public highraay:
Beginning at the south.west corner o~ Lot 22 of the
Ford Glen Tract Unit:-.No~= 1 as reco~ded in Book ld,
Maps of Record, at Page 2-A, County o~ Butte, State
o~ California; thence N 30° 37' W 430.4b feet, along
the west line of said Lot 22, which is identical ~o
the east right-of-way line of Ford Drive as shown on
said map; thence ~eaveing said x'igh~C--of--way line N 61°
09' 19" W 96.68 feet to a point in ti~e wes~C righ~-of-
way line of said Ford Drive; then.ce southeasterly along
said westerly right-of-way line to the southeast.:corner
of Lot 23; thence S 89° 28' E G9.98 ~eeC to the place
of beginning.
2. That this Resolution be posted and publ~shed pursuant
to the provisions of Streets an.d Highways Code §958.
