RESOLUT~ON ACCFPTING PETTTION
WOODRIDGE ASSESSMENT bISTRICT
The Board o~ Supervisors of the County of Butte xesolves:
Certain owne~s of land have f,i~.ed wi~h the Clerk of this
body a peti~tian, signed by ~hem, reques~ing the pub~.ic improvemen.ts
described in the p~ti~ian, the cost ~a be specially assessed against
~.and benefiting £rom the improvement~. The p~~i~ion contains an
express waive~ of statutory proceed~.ngs un.der the Special Assessznent
Inv~stigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act a~ 1931, as pra-
vided in Section 2804.
The Board o~ Supervisors ~inds that alI of the owners af
more than si~ty percent (60~) in area o~ the land subject to assess-
ment for the pr~pased improvement have si.gned the petition.
According~.y, the Board a~ Supervisors accepts the pe~ition
and direc~s that special assessm~n~ proceedings shall be undertaken
by the terms of the peti.tion and wi~hou~. ~urther compl.iance wi~h
~he Special AssessrEtent Investigation, Limitation and A?ajority Pro~est
Act o~ ~931. This action is fina7. within the ~eaning o~ Secti.on
301.2 of the Streets and Highways Code.
