BE IT RESOLVED by ~.he Boa~d of Supervisors of the County of
Butte, Sta~te of Cali~ornia, that GW CONSULTING ENGINEERS, Sacramento,
Cali~ornia, }ae and they are he~eby appointed as Pxoject Engineer
fcor the dai.ng of a11 necessary engineering work and exe~cisin,g all
of the engineering ~unctions provided for under the provisions of ~he
Municipa~ Smprovemen.~ Act o~ 1.913 zn: connec~tion wi~h the irnp~ovements
and acquis~.tions to be made in p~'oposed Woodridge Assessment Distr~ct,
Coun~y of Butte, S~ate of Cali~ornia; and
BE ~T FURTHER RE50LVED that th~ emp~.oyment of said GW
CONSULTING ENGINEERS, shall be as p~ovided in the attached agree~nent;
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chairman of ~he noard o~
Supe~va.sors of the County of Butte be authora.zed ~o sign, and ~.he
County C1erk thereof be authorized to attest, that certain agreement
employing the said GW CONSULTING ENGTNEERS, as Proj~ct Engineer for
said assessm~nt da.strict.

TAIS AGREEMENT, made and entered in~o ~his 24th day o~
January, 1978, by and between the COUN'~Y OF BUTTE, a po7.i~ical
subdivision of the State of Ca~.i~ornia, hc~reinafter called Firs~
Parfy, and G~~T CONSULTING ENGTNEERS, 5acramento, Cali£o~nia,
herainafter ca~.~ed Secand Party;
L~T 2 T N E S S E T H:
That for and in conside~ation o~ the mutual covenants
and agreemen~s herein contained, the partie:s hcreto agree as follows:
1.. Firs~. Party proposes to initiate specia3 assessment
px~oceedings for the irapravements and acauisitions in FnToodridge
Assessment Distric~, County of 3utte, State o~ California.
2. First Par-~y emplay5 Second Party as Project Engineex
for the doing af a11 necessary wark and exercz.sing all engineering
~uncta.ons provided ~or by the provisions of ~Yi~ Municipal Tar~.provement
Act of 19I3 in connection with the sazd improvements and acquisitions
to be made in said district. Said services sha11 include the ~oiioW-

ae Doing of all necessary en.gin.eering work and
exercising o~ all enc~in~~ring ~u~.ctians provided
for under the p~ovisions.of the M~.ni.ci.pal Improve-
ment Act of ~9~.3;
b. Prepara~ion a~nd ~urnishing o~ a~l surveys, o~iginal
drawxngs, maps and blueprints, pl.ans and specif.'ica--
tions, preparation af assessment ro~.l, assessment
diagram, and any and a11 o~her serva.ces whi.ch may
be required under the provisions of the said
Munica.pal Tmprovement Act of 1913;
c. 5upervision and direction o~ all engineexin.g wark
requa.red ~o be taken bv Fa.rst Party or its officers,
agen~.s ar emp].oyees, in connectzon w~.~h said improve-
ments. Said duties sha~.l inc~.ude furnishing, on or
~~~ ~~ ~~~~~~

Report, a~ist of the names and addresses of a11
. property own~~s within the boundaries af the dis-
trict as shown on th~ ~ast egua~ized ro~~ for ~axes
or as known to the ~ngzneer. Said ~ist shall include
coordination of the name and address with the ~SS~55-
ment and diagram number, and the proper description
o~ ~he prop~rty or the Coun~y Assessa~'s parcel number
ot each lot, piece, or parcel of land shown on the
assessmen~ diagram, when appropriate.
d. Rendi~zon o~ gene~al cons~ltation and advice to
Firs~ Pa~ty, its of~icers, agen~s, or employees
wi~h respect to the planning, preparation and
handling af al~ engineering phases of the afore-
said praceedings;
e. Attendance a~ such con~~rences and public meetings
with First Party as may be reasonably necessary ~o
perform this contract of employmen~.
3. Second Party shall rece~ve compensation fQr the abov~
services as fo~lo~s:

The above amo~n~ shall be pa~d by F~rst Party out of
the proceeds o~ assessments l~vied and bonds to b~ issued in said
proceed~ngs. .
