RESOLUTION CALL~NG FOR COI~TSTRUCTION BIDS
WOODRIDGE ASS~SSM~NT D~STRICT
The Board o£ Supervi.sors of the County a£ Butte xesalves:
1.. Thzs Board has given prelirninary approval to the
report o~ ~he Engin~er ot Work for improvements in Woodridge
Assessm~nt Dis~rict, County of Butt~, State of Ca~ifarnia. The
report incl.ude~ p3.ar~s and speci~icatians ~or the construction of
improvem~nts described in the report.
2. The County of But~e wil~. receive sealed propo~als
fa~ this construc~ion not later ~han 11:~0 A»M. on the 23rd day
o~ February, 1978, in the offzce of the Di~ectar o~ Public Warks
~ocated at 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California. At that
time and plac~ tne sealed proposa3.s w~ll be pub~ic~.y opened,
exam~.n.ed and d~clared.
3. The Boaacd of Supervisars r~serves the powe~ in its
discretion to reject aZ1 proposals. The award of canst~uction
contract, .~f made, sha~.Z be rnade to the iowes~ responsible bidder
within the ti.me fixed in the specifzcations (or any extension of
time agreed to by the County af But~e and the~lowest responsibl.e
bidder}.
4. The County Clerk ~.s direc~.ed to publish a notice
inviting sealed praposa~.s in the PAR.AD~SE P05T in accordance wa.th
the A~unzcipaZ Improvement Act of 19~3. The Engineer of Work is
authorized to give additional notice and ~o di.st~ibu~e additional
information as necessary in the judgmerit o~ the Engineer of Work,
to secure competitive biddinge
