WHEREAS, the Pl~nning Dep.artment has pre~ared from fhe
information on. tl~.e land use map, an enlarged ~and ~se map coverin.g
the 1'aradise area; and.
~~EREAS, this Board has d2termined that this land use map
of tlze ~?ax'adise area is only an enlargement ~f the land use map
included w~th the land use e~ement to the Butte County ~eneral Plan
and is not an:aetua~.-' change to the land use map; a~c~.d
WH~REAS, this Board finds that the adop~ion of the enlarged
~.ax~.d use map of the Paradise area will promote ~he heal.tn, safety,
and general ~rrelfare of the c~.ti~zens of the County of Butte by
eliminating confusion as to what the land use's permitted are in
~he Paradise area.

o£ the County o.f_ Butte, State of Ca1if_ornia, that the enlarged Iand
