Government Code at the State of California, the Board by its own notion
has initiated proceedings for the esta.F~Iishment of a county service area;and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission and Butte County has
approved the formation of a county service area for fire hydrants CSA #57-
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOZVED that:
1. A county service area is proposed to be established under the terms
o£ ~he aforesaid chapter in the unincorporated area of Butte County: ~he
bo~ndary line of the territories proposed for inclusion in the area are
in Txhibit A attached here to and made a part here of by this reference.
2. The name proposed for said county service area is CSA ~#5`~ Berry
. Creek Fire Hydrants.
3. The type of extended service already prova.ded is fire hydrant service.
4. This board intends to levy a tax suf£icient to pay ~'or all such
services that are furnished on an extended basis which wiJ.1 be annually
levied upon a11 taxabl.e property within. such area should the county service
area be formed.
5. WHEREAS, On Murch 7, 19'78 at ~p;pp a,~, a public hearing
will be held on the establishment of said area.
