advisable to sel7 the ~ol7owing surplus property, to wit:
A portion of the northerly 9~ feet of the easterZy half of Lot 29,
according to that cer~ain map entitled, "Map of the Fifteen~h
Subdivis9on of the John Bidwel7 Rancho, near Chico, Butte County,
Cal9fornia," which map was recorded in the office of the Recorder
of the County of Butte, State of Ca~ifornia, January 25, 1908, in
Volume 6 of Maps at page 48, described as follows:
Co~nencing at the northeast corner of said Lot 29, said point
being the intersection of the centerlines of East Avenue and
Mariposa Avenue as shown on said map; thence S 89°58'18"W along
the north line of said Lot 29 and the centerl9ne of said East
Avenue, Z52 feet to the northeast corner of that parcel of land
descrtbed in deed from Chestar A. Patridge, et ux to Joseph H.
Richardson et ux, recorded Januar~ 24, 1958, in Book 922 at page
368, Official Records; thence S 0 Ol'42"E along the east line of
said Richardson parcel, 40.00 feet to the true point af beginning;
thence N 89°58'78"E, 70i.99 feet; thence southeasterly on the arc
of a 20.00 foot radius curve, concave to the southwest, through a
een~ral ang7e of 90°00'47", for 31.42 feet ta a pvint distant
wester7y 30.00 feet measured perpendicular from the said center-
line of Mar9posa Avenue; thence 5 0°00'55°E, parallel with said
Mar9posa Avenue centerline, 29.99 feet; thence S 89°58'18"4J, 122
feet; thence N 0°O1'42"W, 50 feet to ~he True Point of Beginning.
Containing an area of 0.138 acre, more or tess.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that it is the intention of ~hSs Board
to sell the aforementianed property at a minimum price of $3,000 in cash.
TT IS ~URTHER RESOLVED that on the ~lst day of ~rch , 1978,
at 10:45 a.m., a public meeting of the Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte will be held at the regular place of ineeting of sa~d 8oard, at~which time
proposals to purchase will be received and consi ed.
