RESOLUZ'ION ABAND~NING A PUBLIC HIGHWAY
This mat~er came on regularly ~or hearing before the
Board of Supervisors of ~he County of Butte, State of California,
on March 7 , 1978, in the Baar~ Chambers, Butte County
Adma.nis~ration Buildir~g, Oroville, California, and it apvearing to
said Board t?~.at a Notice of Time and Place of Hearing of said
Abandonment was duZy and regularly given as required by law, and
testimony and evidence, both oral and documentary, havzng been
produced at said hearing,,frog- which said Board now ~'inds that the
hereinaftex' described Public Highway (to wit, a portion of Old
CohasseC Road) is unnecessary ~ox' present or.`::prospective.public use.
NOW, T~I~REFdRE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED as foliows:
l. That the public highway situated in the County of Butte;;:
Sta~Ce of CaZifornia, as hereinafter more particularly descxibed,
is hereby abandoned.
2. That the description of said public highway so abandoned
is situated in the County of Butte, State o£ Cali.forz~ia, and mnre
pax~Cicularly described as follows:
The most southerZy 1335 feet of Rock Creek Road
located in the northtiaest quarter of Secti.on 23,
T23N, R1.E, NIDB&M, as delineated oz~ attached
Exhibit "A".
3. 'Fhat the Clerk of this Board shall cause a certi~ied
copy of ~his Resolution, with the seal of the Ro~~.d of Supervisors
of the County of Butte, State o~ California, to be recorded in t~.e
office of ~he Recorder of the County of Butte, State of California.
