WH~L3EAS, the Butte County Department of Social Welfare desires to undertake a certain project designated Parental Stress Prog~;am in Butte County to be funded in part from funds made available through the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, PL 90-351, as amended, (hereafter referred to as the Crime Contro7 Act) administered by the Office of Crimfnat Justice P~anning (hereafter referred to as OCJA). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RES~LVED by the Board of Supervisors of the Caunty of Butte, State of California, that tf~e Director of the Butte County Department of Socia~ Welfare is authorized, on its behalf to submit the attached App~icatfon for Grant for Law Enforcement Purposes to OCJP and is authorized to exeeute on behalf of County of Butte the attached Grant Award for law enforcement purposes including any extens~ons or amendments hereof. BE IT FURTHER RESOLUED that the applicant agrees to provide al~ ma~ching funds required for said project (inciuding any extension or amendment thereof) under the Crime Control Act and the rules and regulations of OCJP and the Law Enforcer~ent Assistance Rdmin9stration and that funds will be ;app,~^apriated as required hereby.
