RESOLUTION AUTHORIZTNG SALE OF BQNDS
WOODRIDGE ASSESSMENT DISTR~CT
wHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County af But~e, Sta~e o~
California, has received 'a written proposal from BIRR, W~LSON & CO., INC.,
offering to purchase imp~ovemen~ bonds to be ~ssued by the County of
Butte to represen~ unpaid assessments levied pursuant ~o the Resolutian
of Tn~en~ion for Woodridge Assessment Dis~ric~, adopted by the Boaxd o~
Supervisors of the County of Butte on the 2~th day of January, 1978,
for paymen~ o~ the improvemen~s and acqu~.si.tians and a~.l o~ th~ incidental
expenses in conn~ction therewith, zn said Woodridge Assessm~nt Distr~ct;
and
WHEREAS, i.t is ~he opi~ion of this Board ~hat the public interest
and conv~ni~nce will be served by accepting the offer of the said BTRR~
WzLSON & C~., ~NC., dated March 8, I978, and will also be served by
selZ~ng ~he said bonds at the priae therein named,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT ZS HEREBY ORDERED that ~he proposal of
BIRR, W~LSON & CO., TNC., dated March a, 197$,~ be, and the same is
hereby accepted and that the bonds be, and they are hereby ordered sol.d
to BIRR, WTLSON & CO., ZNC., in the amount and subjec~. ~o the terms and
c4n.ditions stated in the bid o~ the S~id BIRR, WILSON & CO., INC.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ~he interes~ rate o~ said bonds be,
and the same is hereby f~xed at the rate stated in said bid, and that
saa.d bonds shall be dated the 2nd day of Ma:y, 1978, and slial~ bear
interest from said datE.
