has initiated proceedir~gs for ~he establishment of a county servi.ce areag and
Y3HF~tEAS, ~he Local Agency Formation Commission and Butte Caunty has
approve@ the forma~ion of a county sezvice area for fire hydraz~ts CSA ¢~57.
NOW~ 'IHEREFt~RE~ IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that:
l. A county service area is proposed to be established under the texms
of the aforesaid cha~s'cer in the unincorporated area of Butte County: The
boundary line of the territories proposed for inclusinn in -Ehe area are in
Exhibit A attached hereto and made a part hereo£ by this reference.
2. The name proposed for said county service area is CSA #57 Berry~ Creek
F'ire Hydrants.
3. The type of extended service already provided is fire hydrant service.
1~. This Board upon approval of the qualified electorate intends to levy
a tax su~~ieient to pay ~or all such services that are fusnished on an extended
basis which orill be annually levied upon all taxable property within such area
should -Ehe county service area be formed.
5. ti~l~S~ on Nlay 16, 197$ at 9:30 a.m. a public hearing wi.ll be held
on the establishment of said area.
