~ RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT
WOODRTDG~ ASSESSMENT DZSTRICT
WHEREAS, by resolut~.an adopted on the 24th day of January,
1.978, it was directed that bids be called~for the impravement work ~o
be done in Woadridge AssESSmen~ District, County of Butte, State of
Califo~nia, and that the time fi.xed for receiving sea~.ed bids or
proposals was the 23rd day of February, ~97$, at tha hour o~ 1I:00 A.M.
of said day; and
WFiEREAS, No~i.ae ~to Contrac~.ors was duZy published in the ~ime
and manner requxred by ].aw; and
WHEREAS, all bids hav~.ng been public~y opened, examined and
decJ.ared per~.aini.ng to th~ doing of the work and improvemen~.s described
in th~ Resol.u~ion ot In~ention, wh~ch Reso~.ution o~ Intentian is h~reby
expressly ~eferred to tor a description of said improvem~nts, and ~or a11.
other particuZars relative to the proceedings under said Reso~u~ian of
Tntentian; and
WHEREAS, sa~d ba.ds having been xeferred ta the ~nginee~ of [~Tork
for ~etriew and recommendation, and said Engineer of Wo~k having reviewed
said bids and presented his analysis and reco~-tnendation re award of bid;
and
WHEREAS, the Baard ot Supervisors afi the County of Butte having
considered said ana3.ysis ~ and recoinmenda~ion and having deterr~tined that the
bid recomrnended for award was s~bmitted in accordance wi~h said Notice to
Contrac~ors ; arad
WHEREAS, ~he Board of Supervisors of the Caunty of Bu~te on the
21st day of March, 1.978, ordered the impravements and acquisitions to be
mad~ in said assessment dist~ict,

NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Board of Super-
visors of the ~ounty o~ But~~, S~ate of Calzfornia, hereby rej~c~s a~I
a~ said proposaZs or bids, excep~ that he~ein men~ion~d, and hereby
awards the contract for said zmprovements to the ~owest respons~bl~
bidder, to wit: KEMEN & SQN, a~ the pr~ces named in ~he bid o~ said
bidde~ on ~iZe in the o~~ice of the County C~exk of the Coun~y af Butt~;
and
IT IS HEREBY DYRECTED tha~ the County CZerk of the County of
• Butte publish a No~~ce of Award of Contract.
IT IS HEREBY FURTHER AUTHORIZED AND DzRECTED that the Chairman
of the Board of 5upervzsors and the County C1erk of ~he Coun~y of Butte
e~ecute the wr~tten cantract for said imp~ovements upan p~esentation by ~
sa~d b~dder of the requ~red bands and certit~cates of ins~rance; provided,
that ~h~ xequired bands be in substantia~ly the ~orm app~oved by the
Insurance Commissioner o£ ~he S~ate af Ca~ifornia and ~ha~ said bonds
and certificates be approved by ~pecial bond co~nsel.
