RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO
UNITED STATES SENATE BILL 35
WHEREAS, this Board has been made aware of' the provisions
of Senate Bill 35 presently before the Senate of the United States;
and
WffEREAS, this bill wi11 have the effect of encouraging
spuri.ous and frequent litigation against states, mu.nicipalities, and
other public agexicies: _.
NOW, Z'AEKEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That this Board respectfully urges upon the Congress
o£ the United States tha~ this l.egislation be defeated.
2. That a copy of this zesolution be sent to the Honorable
A].an Cranston, U.S. Senator; the Honorable S. I. Hayakawa, U.S:.
Senator; the Hono~abl.e Harold T. "Bizz" Johnson, U.S. Congressman;
and to such other individuals as this Board may direct.
