Intention to Establish County Service Area to be entitled "COUNTY SERVICE AREA No. 57,"

day, in the Board o£ Supervisors' Room of the Butte County Administration Buildi.ng,
Oroville, State of California, as the time and place far the public hearzng on the
estab~.i.shment o~ said area, and
WHEf?~AS, sa9.d Board, ~ at sa~.d time and place, proceeded to call for public i.nput
and held said public hearing, and
WHEREAS, no ~,mitten protests against the establishment thereof j,Tere filed in
accordance t:3th ~525210.17 of the Government Code.
NOW, THEREFl~RE~ BE TT FiESOLVED B~i tlie Board of Superv~.sors of the County o~'
~utte, State of California, as follows:
l. Tha~ saa.d Board hereby finds and determines that the proceedings herein
were conducted pursuant to s~2527-0.]. et seq. of the Government Code, and that
publication and notices U;ere given pursuant thereto, and that said Board Finds and
determines that the seruices described in the Resolution of Intention~ that is, fire
hydrant ses~vi.ce, is an ex-tended county sex~vice in the proposed area.
2. That the boundaries of said area are hexeby ~'~.nal.ly de~ermi.ned and established.
as the same as are shok~n on Exhi.b~9.t "A" attached hereto, and a.ncorporated herein
by reference and made a part o~ this resolution.
3. That the name of said proposed serva.ce area is "COUNTY SER~TICE AREA N0. 57•"

area on 74~esday, November 7, ~97$, for the purpose of determining trhether sai.d service

b. The election shall be held and conducted by'the county and bhe balZots
canvassed in accordance u*ith the provisions of 5ection 22032 0£ the Election Code.
7. Tf the majority of the votes cast at the election is in favor of forming
the service area and establishing a ma~dmum tax rate in the service area, the
Board of Supezvisors shall, by resolution entered in its minutes, declare the
service area established under the Gounty Service Area Law, giving the name of
the sezvice area, ~he purpose for v~hich it is formed, describing its boundaries
and the maximum t2~ rate estab~.#.shed in the area.
