WHEREAS, Section 2,L,.1~j0 of the California Government Code provides that
prior to the prizaary alec~ion immediately preceding the election of county
officers, the Board of Supervisors sha1~. prescribe -~he amount of of~zcia~.
bonds £or ~he Treasurer, County Clerk, Auditor, Sheriff~ Coroner, Tax Collector,
District Attorney, Recorder, Assessor, Surveyor, Svperintendent of Schools,
Publ.ic Administrator, Constables and Marshals; and
WHEREAS~ certain of said officers have been consolidated by the Charter
of the County of Bu-Ete~
NOW, THER.EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of California, that the bonds o£ said officers as
named in Section 24150 of the California Governmen~ Code, and as consolidated
by the Chaster of the County of But~e be prescribed and set as Pollows•
The amount in whieh the Treasurer and ex-officio
Tax Collector and ex-officio License Collector
must execute official bond is hereby determined
and fixed at the stun of $250~000.00
The amount in wh~,ch the County Clerk must
execute o~ficial bond is hereby determined
and fixed at the sum of 25,000.00
The amount in which the Recorder must
execute of~icial bond is hereby determined
and fixed at the sum af 20,000.00
The amount in which the Gounty C1erk and
ex-officio Recorder must execute offic3al
bond is hereby determined and fixed at the
sum of 25,000.00
The amount in wkich the 5heriff and ex-
officio Coroner must execute his official
bond is hereby determined and fixed in
accordance with Section z4153 0~ the
Government Gode as follows:
(a) as to civil matters, a.n the sum of 25,000.00
(b) as to criminaJ. matters, the sum of 25,000.00
The amoun-~ zn which the District Attorney
and ex-officzo Public Administrator must
execnte official bond is hereby determined
and fixed at th~ sum of 50,000.00

The amount in which the Surveyor, also known
as Road Engineer, Road Commissioner, and
Director of Public Works, must execute his
official bond is hereby determined and fixed
at the sum of 10,000.00
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte,
State of California, this 30th day o£ May, 1978 by the following vote:
