WfIEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte deems it
advisable to sell the followzng surplus proper~y, to wit:

A portion of the north half of the northeast quarter of Section
3~, T19N~ R/.,.E, M.D.B. & M.~ more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the northeast corner of said Section 3I; thence
S89°L,3'10"W, 576.5L~ feet along the north line of said 5ection
31;to the west line of the Wes~ern Pacxfic Railway Company
210.00 foot wide right of way; thence S7°23'00"E, along said
west right-of-way line L~20.71 feet to the TRUE POZNT OF
BEGINNIoG; thence continuing along said west right-of-way
~.ine S7 23'00"E, 32$.82 feet to the north Iine of Ophir
Road; thence S82°37'00"W., a].ong saifl nortn line of Ophir
Road, 170.00 feet to the intersection of the north line of
Qphir Road with the easterly line of Baggett-Palermo Road,
as said road existed January 1~ 1978; thence along sazd
easterly line of Baggett-Palermo Road ~he following courses:
N45°2g'02°W, 52.~5 feet; thence northeasterly along the arc
o£ a nontangent 270.00 foot radius curve, concave to the
southeast (radial line to said curve at this point bears
N88°/+7'20"W) through a central angle of 34.°35+57", a distar~ce
of 161.L~7 feet; thence N35°2$'37"E, 1g6.33 £eet to the west
line of sazd Western Pacific Railway Company right o~' way
and the POINT OF BEGTNNZNG.
Containing an area of 0.981 acre, more or less.
Subject to Section 959.1 Streets and. Highways Code of the
State of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLITED that it is the in~ention of this
Board to sell the aforementioned property at a minimum price of ~2,100.
ZT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that on tY~e llth day of July, 1978 at
11:00 a.zn., a public meeting o£ tne Board of Supervisors of the County of
Butte will be heZd at the regu7_ar pl.ace o~ meeting of said Board, at which
time proposals to purchase will be received and considered.
