RESOLUTION ROOPTING PROPOSED BUDGET F4R TME FISCAL YEAR 7978-~9 ~
{~OVERNMEN~ CODE S~CTION 29,0~6 ET. SEQ.}
SE IT RESOLVED by the SOARD OF S~PERVISORS a~ the COUNTY QF BUTTE,
STATE QF CRLIFORNIA, as fol7ows:
1. 7hat the tabuiatian of anticipa~ed revenues and prapas~d ~xpendi~
tures for ~he fiscal year 1978-79 has been reviewed and rev~5ed under the
directio~ of ~h~s Board, and now confarms to its judgement as a proper preliminary
f~nancial program for said fiscal year and is hereby adapted as the "Proposed
Budget o~ the Coun~y of But~e far the Fiscal Year 1978-79."
2. The "Proposed B~dget" sha11 be reproduced and a sufficient number
of budget dacum~~ts shal~ be prov~ded so that each taxpayer who des~res may
obtain one, and a copy shall immediately be for~warded to t~e 5~ate Co~troller by
the Auditar.
3. 7he Clerk a~ ~he Baard shal~ fort~with publish a notic~ once in a
newspaper of general c~rculation stat3ng that:
(a) The "Pro~osed Budget" documents are ava~7ab]e ta taxpayers
requesting them.
(b) That th~s Board af Su~erv~sars will meet at Orovi71e on
Tuesday, July 18, 1978 at Y1:00 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors room, in ~he
County Administration Building, ~~59 Bird Street, in the City of Oroville, County
of Butte, S~a~e of Cal~fornia, ~or the purpose of fix~ng the Bu~te Co~nty f~nal
budget and Revenue Sharing budget and any ~axpayer may appear ~hereat and be
heard regarding ~he i~crease, decrease or omission of any ~tems af the Budget or
for ~he inclus~an o~ additional items, all in accordance with Section 29,066 of
the Government Code af the Sta~e o~ Ca]iforn~a and Code of Federal Regulations
Sec~ion 51.74 ~or ~ederal Revenue Sharing.
