RAPE CRISIS INTERVENTION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the County of Sutte desires to undertake a certain
project designated Rape Cris9s Intervention to be funded in part from
funds made available through the O~nibus Crime Control and Safe Streets
Act of 1968, PL 90-357, as amended, (hereafter referred to as the Crime
Control Act) administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning
{hereafter referred to as OCJP).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the County Sheriff of the
County of Butte 9s authorized, on its behalf, to subroit the attached
app1ication for grant for law enforcement purposes to OCJP and is authorized
to execute on behe]f of the County of Butte the attached grant award for law
en~orcement purposes including any extensions or amendmen~s thereof.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County of Butte agrees to provide
all matching funds required for said project {~ncluding any extensions or
amendments thereof) under Crime Control Act and ruZes and regulations of
OCJP and the Law Enforcement Assistance Administ~ation, and that cash wi7i
be appropriated as required thereby.
BE TT FURTHER RESOLV~D that grant funds received hereunder sha17
not be used to supplant law enforcement expendit controlled by this Soard.
