MAP OF THE LAND USE ELEMENT dF THE BUTTE COUNTY
GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, this Board recei~red from ~he Butte Coun~y
Pl.anning Comnission, an amendment, as shown on Exhibit "A" attached
hereto, to the Land Use E~ement of the Butte County General Plan;
an d
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code §65355, hearings
have been held by the Board of Supervisors to consider the above
amendment; and
WHERBAS, ttte Board of Supervisors has revzewed and
considered the nega~ive declaration regarding environmental impact,
attached hereto as Exhibit "B", preparecl for the above amendment;
and
WHEREAS, this Board finds that tt~.e designations for land_
use on the axisting Land Use Map for the area described in the
amendment are inconsistent with the actual land uses in this area
and tl-~at the designation of the existing land uses on the Land Use
Map for the area described is inconsistent with the policies
governing these land uses as set forth in the Land Use Element text;
this find~.ng being based upon the information presented at the
heazi~g Chereon before Che Planning Commissian and Che Board of
Supexvisors and the research and studies on. which the amendment
wras based.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED.by the Board of Supervisors
o~ the County of Butte, State of California, that the amendment to
tl~e Land Use Map, as "s.hown on Exhibit "A" attached hereto, be
adopted and incorporated within the Land Use Map of the Land Use
Element of the General Plan of the County of Butte.
SE IT FURTH~~ RESOLVED that, pursuan~ to Government
Code §65359, the General ~lan of the County of Burte be endorsed
to show that the above amendment has been approved by this Board.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, pursuant to Government Code
§65360, a copy of this Resolution be transmitted to ~he City
Councils of the ci~ies o£ Butte County.
