SPECIAL COVENANT fqr use of Item 151.3 Funds
But~e County
Funds r~quir~d to match F~deral Highway Funds in the groject wi~l
be provid~d by the State as authorized by I~em 151.3 of the Budget
Act of 1978 and alloca~ed by the California Transportation C~mmission.
In the event Item 151.3 funds less than the amoun~ shown are
~equired as a resu~t of a low bid, the excess wil~ be returned to
the county allocation.
Tn th~ ~ve~t Item 151.3 funds grea~er than the amoun~ shown axe
~equired as a res~~t of a high bid, the r~quired amount may be
added subject ~o ~he availability o~ f~nds in th~ cou~ty allocation.
Item ~51.3 funds in the project will be limi~ed to the amount
required to match the Federal funds shown in the De~ail Estimate
which is prepared when bids are opened.
After completion of the.fina~ cos~ accounting for a project, any
unexpended ~tem 151.3 ~unds wi11 revert to (~) the county allocatian
provided ~hat the finaZ cost accounting ~s complet~d befoxe Apri~ 1,
~979; or (2) the statewide a~location provided ~hat the final cos~
accounting is campleted between April l, 1979 and June 30, 1979; or
(3} to ~he Item 15~.3 appropriation provided that the final cost •
accoun~ing i5 comp~etad subsequent to June 30, 1979.
