EQUIPM~NT PURSUANT TO ~OVERNMENT CODE SECTZON

BE IT RESOLVED by the Soard of Supervisors of the County
of Butte, State of Cali~ornia, that the Board ~inds and determines
and hereby declares, as follows, to wit:
1. ~hat an emergency exists by reason of the failure of
an air conditioning compzessor at the building housing the
employees of the Health Department.
2. That immediate replacement of the said compressor is
necessary for the preservation of public health.
3. That the Auditor of the County o~ Butte is hereby
authorized to disperse the monies required for the immediate
replacement of said compressor up to a maximum of $5,000.00.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this30th day of August , 1978, by
the Butte County Board of Supe~rva~so by the ollowing vote:
