Burgess and others requesring the abandonment of a public highway
(to wit, a portion of Ord Ferry Road) as described below; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Streets and Highways Code §958 this
Soard shall set a date.fo:r a'hearing.on ~he'`petition'.for ~
abandonment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLV~D by this Board:
1. That this Board hereby gives n.otice that at its regu7.ar
meeting oz~, November 14 , 1978, a~ 10:00 a-m. , in the Board
Chambers, Butte County Administration Building, Oroville, California,
a hearing shaJ.7. be held on the abandonment of the following described
public highway:
A11 that pi.ece or parcel of land being 60 feet in
width an.d bounded as ~oiiows:
Lying 30 feet on each side of its centerline, said
centerline being the line common to Rancho L1ano
Seco and Rancho de Farwell also bounded on the wes~
by the Sacramento River and on the east by the wes~
rigkit-of-way line of the Ord Ferry Road as i~ was
approved on June 30, 1970, as shown on the plans on
file in Butte County Department of Public Works.
2. That this Resolution be and published pursuant to
~he provisions of Streets and Hi~- ays Code §9 $.
