RESOLUTION ADOPTIP3G AMET~DMENT TO THE
L~,.ND USE MAP OF THE LAND USE EL,EMENT
OF THE BUTTE COUNTY GENERAL PLAN
WH~~AS, this Board received from the Bu~te County Pianni.ng
Commzssion, an amendment, as shown on Exhibit "A"'attached hereto, to
the Land Use ElemenC of the Butte County General Plan; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code §65355, hearin.gs have
been held by the Board of Supervisors to consider'the above amendment;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors has reviewed arad considered
the negat~ve declaration regarding environmental impact, attached here-
to as Exfiibit "B", prepared for the above amendment; and
WHEREAS, the ~oard of Supervisors of the County of But~e
finds that the area lends itself ~o t'[ze requested'ainendment and to
the developmeztt that is proposed to follow and will be con.sisten~
with land use now in. the area, wi11 be consistent'with the policies of
the Land Use ~lemene and in con~ormity with the policies in any other
elements of the General P1an, this finding being based upon the infor-
ma~tion presex~.Ced at the hearing thereon before the Butte County
Planning Commission and the research and studies on which the amendrnent
was based. ',
~IOW, T1-~~1~FORE, BE IT RGSOLVED by the Board of Supervisors
oF the County of Butte, State of Cali~ornia, that the amendment to
the Land Use I~ap, as shown on Exhibit "A" attacned hereto, be adopted
and incorporated ~aithin the Land Use Map of the I;and Use Eletnent of
rhe General Plan of the County of Butte.
BE IT k'URTT-IER RESOLVED that, pursuant to Government Code
§65359, the General Plan of the County o~ Butte be endorsed to show
that the above amendment has been approved by this Board.
