AND 7q DISPOSE OF PROPERTY
WHEREAS~ Butte Count~r is conduc'ting a Cor~rmm-;ty Development Block
Grant program in the El Medio {5outh Oroville) neighborhood, funded, in
part,, with a Commw~.ty Development B1ock Gran~ from the U. S. l7epartment
of Housing and U~ban Detrelopment, and;
WHEk~EAS~ among the purposes of said program are the elimination
of bligh~, the rehabi].a.tatinn of housing, and the expansion of housing
opportunities for lower and moderate ineome families and individuaZs, and;
W!-~REAS, property located at 31~66 Columbia Street in E1 Medio,
also described as Bu~te Cour-ty Assessor's Parcel Number (I~) 35-09~-~,
has been rehabilitated under said Community Development Fragram with a
Section 312 loan and a Block Grant loan~ and;
WHEREAS, Butte County holds a Deed of Trust which is suppler~ental
to a Deed of ~rtast held by ~he U.S. Aepa~tment of Housing and Urban Bevelopr~ent
cover5.ng said property, as security for said Block Grant loan, and;
V~fiEREAS~ Ronnie and Rose Maxy Perdue, owners of said property,
wish to convey their interest in said property to the Oounty of Butte, in
lieu of foreclosure, and;
4~II-~REAS, Butte County desires to avoid foreclosure, and thereby
protect the county~s interest in saa.d pxoperty, and;
Z~REAS,. the county wi.she.s ta dispose of said property to a lower
or maderate income fami7.y in accordance with ptl~P.lines adopted in ..
Covnty of Butte Ftesolution 77-154 , on September 20, 197~...

l. ~'he County Admirri.stra-~a.ve Officer, or his designated deputy, is
authori.zed to accep~ a grant deed for property located at
34b6 Columbia.
2. The Gounty Aclministrative Officer is av.thorized to dispose
of said property in accordance wi~h the aforementioned
disposition gui.deLl.nes.
