RESOLUTTOi~ IP~ MEt~iORY OF GEOA,GE MJSCOP~E
WNEREAS, ~his Board was grieved to learn of the violen~t death of
George Moscone, mayor of the City of Sar~ Franc9sco; and
I,iMEREAS, Mayor Gearge ~1oscone has contributed much to the quality of
iife ir our country and in the State of Ca3iforn3a during his tenure as a member
of th2 5an Francisco Board of Su~ervisors, State Senate, and more recently as
thp Mayor of the City ef San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, Mayor George Moscone had the respect of this Board of
Supervisors and the citizens of 8utt~ County.
PlObl, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of Ce7ifornia as follows:
Z. That this Soard hereby memorializes its deep appreciation of the
meritarious services rendered to the citizens of the State af California by
Mayor Gearge Moscone.
2. That t~e condolenc~s and F~eartfelt sympathy of t~is Board be
extended to his wife Gina and members of his family, and that the Clerk of th~s
Board for+rrard a certif9ed copy of this resoTution ta Mrs. Gina Moscone.
