HomeMy WebLinkAbout786BUTTE COUNTY ORDINANCE N0. 786 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 2-71, 2-72 AND 2-73 OF THE CODE OF BUTTE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. The Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, do ordain as follows: 1. Sections 2-71, 2-72 and 2-73 of the Code of Butte County, California, are amended to read as follows: SECTION 2-71 COMPENSATION AND TRAVEL EXPENSES Each Planning Commissioner shall receive the sum of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) for each meeting or public hearing attended. Each Commissioner shall also receive reasonable travel expenses to be fixed and determined by the Board of Supervisors, incurred in attending meetings or public hearings. SECTION 2-72 MEETINGS The Planning Commission shall hold at least one regular meeting each month. There shall not be more than a total of four (4) such meetings and public hearings in any calendar month unless previously authorized by the Board of Supervisors. SECTION 2-73 REMOVAL OF APPOINTED MEMBERS Any member of the Commission may be removed therefrom by a ma3ority vote of the Board of Supervisors. 2. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its passage and before the expiration of fifteen (15) days.. after its passage, it shall be published at least once with. the names of the Supervisors voting for or against it in a local -1- 7 ~G newspaQer published in the County of Butte, State of California.
