WHEREAS, the County o~ Butte was joined in an action to
determine title to real property, estatie o.f_ ~ola E. Andre~s, deceased,
Butte County Superior Caurt No. 22137,
[~IiEREAS, the Board of Supervisors, after discussing this
litigation with counsel in executive session on July 26, 1976, in
open session on that same date authorized counsel to withdraw from
this proceeding,
L+IHEREAS, such withdrawal was predicated on the fac~ that the
County of Butte had no interest in the real property in question,
tidFiEREAS, pursuant to the withdrawal of the County of Bu~te
£rom the aforementioned proceeding, a quitclaim deed has been presented
to the County of Butte, whereby the County of Butte would release any
claim to the rea~ property which was the subject of the aforesaid
proceeding, a copy of said quitclaim deed being attached hereto, and,
WHEREAS, the quitclaim deed is in proper form for execution
by the County of Butte.
NOW, THEP.EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chairman of the
Board of Supervisors of the County o~ Butte is hereby authorized to
execute said quitclaim deed on behal~ o~ the County o£ Butte.
