IN THE.FORMATIO~ OF COUN~'Y SERVICE AREA N0. 57
DEPE.4TED
3~fiEREAS, by Resnlution No. 78-g5, the Butte County Board of
Supervisors called for an election to be held on Tuesday, November 7, 197$,
for the purpose of de~~ermining ti•rhether Connty Service Area No. 57 shall be
org~nized and formed £or ~the boundaries set forth in Exhibit "A," a~ttached
hereto, and
Y~fiEFtEAS, said proposal was submitted to the voters within the proposed
service area, and
WHEREAS, the Clerk of the County o£ Butte has certi.£ied that the
results of the election were - one in favor of the £ormation of the county
service area wi.th the proposed maxi.mum:tax rate o£ 75s~ for every $100.00 of
assessed evaluation, and thirteen opposed.
NOW, TIIEREFnRE, BE TT fi.ESOLVED by the Board of Supervisors of the
County of Butte, State of Ca7ifornia, as follows:
The Board hereby ~inds and determines that the servzce area £ormation
proposal has failed, passed az~d adopted by ~Ehe Board o.f 5upervisors of the
County of Butte this 16th., day of January , 1979, by the .following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Do1an, Moseley, Wheeler, Winston and Chairman I.emke
